Sarah Lappöhn joined the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) as a student assistant in 2011. She studied International Development at the University of Vienna, focusing on the socio-economic development of Latin America, especially Brazil. Since April 2014, she is a researcher in the group "Energy, Environment, and Sustainable Economic Structures" (formerly "Regional Science and Environmental Research") where her main area of research is input-output analysis. She is enrolled in the doctoral program "Transitions to Sustainability" at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna. Her doctoral research project deals with the analysis of different accumulation and regulation systems in the Brazilian agricultural sector (for further details, see here).
