The event, organized by Spanish observer NGO CambiaMo, focused on Justice for Socio-technical Transitions (J4ST). This event gathered expertise in different fields to place social justice at the center of climate-change policy interventions. Braun spoke together with academics from Israel and Belgium, and activists from the US interested in the confluence of just transition and transportation justice. The event was organized as hybrid. The main message of the intervention was that until now, policies that seek to tackle climate change have disregarded the social component of sustainability. Braun, a member of the IHS research group Science, Technology and Social Transformation focused his contribution on the role of combating multifold violence in automobility to address core questions of climate justice and the just transition.”
