Last week members of the IHS research group Techno Science and Societal Transformation hosted the 3rd and final NewHoRRIzon Social Lab on the role of RRI (Responsible Research & Innovation) in funding basic research. Multidisciplinary stakeholders of the European Research Council were invited to discuss what it means to do Excellence research and the role of RRI. In culmination, the stakeholders presented and discussed their two RRI related projects, consisting of a cultural expertise platform for legal scholars and an innovative method of facilitating interdisciplinary dialogue.
