At invitation by Praevenire Thomas Czypionka, Head of IHS Health Economics and Health Policy Group, took part in three discussions with stakeholders from the Austrian healthcare system in Alpbach. The topics covered were the affordability of innovations in healthcare, the amalgamation of Austrian Social Health Insurance and its impact on the treatment of rare diseases and cost-utility-analysis of cancer therapy.
