The IfB is currently funding a number of projects that develop digital teaching and learning materials using Citizen Science methods. In addition to pedagogical impulses, transformation processes in the education and research system are to be stimulated. The Techno-Science and Societal Transformation research group at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) reflects on this process and the participatory elements of the projects. The aim of the evaluation is to develop empirically based guidelines for the creation of digital teaching and learning materials using Citizen Science methods.
