Monika Mühlböck joined the IHS in July 2021. She holds a PhD in Political Science and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Vienna. She is Assistant Professor at the University of Vienna and External Fellow at the Mannheimer Zentrum für Europäische Sozialforschung (MZES). Previously, she held positions at University of Mannheim, the University of Vienna, the University of Salzburg, and the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She has been Visiting Professor at Central European University (CEU), European Union Center of Excellence Fellow at the University of Colorado, and Visiting Researcher at the University of Turku.
