Carina works as a student assistant in the research group Science, Technology and Societal Transformation at the IHS. Currently, Carina is a student of the Master's program Science-Technology-Society studies at the University of Vienna. After studying a mix of political science (major) and administrative science and law (minor) in various European countries as a Bachelor, Carina gathered experiences in different working fields such as the German parliament, a thinktank, or NGOs. Their interest centers around the discontinuation of fossil technologies and how they are being contested – controversies on large-scale technologies like lignite coal in Germany or the construction of highways in Austria.
