The Graduate Impact Survey (GIS) is conducted yearly amongst alumni of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) programs. In those highly internationalized Master courses, mobile students from the EU as well as from numerous Non-EU partner countries attend semesters at two to four universities across different countries. The GIS aims to determine the impacts of participating in these programs on career development, competencies and skills and personal growth of its graduates. Additionally, it serves as an instrument to further improve the framework for those Master programs.
The GIS 2022/23 focusses on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on studying and employment career of graduates. This topic has an extraordinary relevance in the EMJMD context due to the global target group of the survey and the high degree of international mobility during the programmes. As part of this, the role of institutional circumstances like teaching modes and support structures will be assessed as well. First results can be expected for winter 2023/24.
