The research group monitors and forecasts short- and long-term developments in the economy at the sectoral, national, and international levels. Its analyses provide guidance for designing effective and sustainable economic policies at both the national and EU levels.

The group has particular expertise in empirical economic research and produces the IHS economic and medium-term forecasts for the Austrian economy.
