All4SR supports the European Commission's Pilot Programme on Societal Readiness in climate, energy and mobility research. By expert support, research and intervention it helps ensure that research is shaped by societal needs, concerns and expectations, while strengthening collaboration between scientific disciplines and societal actors. Working across all funded Pilot projects, All4SR will examine how Societal Readiness is interpreted and implemented, including stakeholder engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration and responses to societal concerns. The project combines four activities: a Forum for shared learning and annual workshops; a public Platform offering guidance, tools and examples; an Observatory analysing experiences, challenges and lessons across the Pilots; and policy support for the European Commission and National Contact Points through practical recommendations. By monitoring and evaluating the Pilot Programme, All4SR will identify effective practices and develop a clear, transferable approach to Societal Readiness, strengthening the responsiveness, inclusiveness and societal relevance of future European research, particularly in Cluster 5. IHS will have a role in all four activities.
