With foresight and tireless dedication, Heinrich Neisser decisively shaped and guided the course of IHS for decades. At the age of 47, while serving as a member of the National Council, he joined the IHS Board of Trustees in 1983. In 1988, in recognition of his commitment and dedication, he was elected President of the Board of Trustees. As Honorary President, he remained a supportive and active friend of IHS until the very end.
Heinrich Neisser’s contributions to the IHS as an independent institute for economic and social research will always be remembered.
Our sincere condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
