Vlasta Zucha joined the Higher Education Research Group at IHS in 2019.

From 2012 to 2019, she was project manager of the Microcensus Housing Survey and responsible for housing statistics at Statistics Austria (Department of Living Conditions and Social Protection). From 1999 to 2012, she was project manager and researcher at SORA (Institute for Social Research and Consulting,) and lecturer on research methodology, quantitative methods and questionnaire design at the University of Vienna (2003-2011). As an undergraduate, she worked at the Institute for Advanced Studies and at the Department of Sociology at the University of Vienna.
She holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Vienna.
