IHS Equal Opportunity Commissioner

IHS is committed to an active equal treatment and equality policy, taking into account relevant diversity characteristics in accordance with the Equal Treatment Act, as well as a fundamentally non-discriminatory organizational culture. Melanie Gadringer and Petra Hirzer have been appointed as the Institute's Equal Opportunity Officers for the period 2022-2025. 

The Equal Opportunity Officers are responsible for the following areas, among others: 

  • Providing expert advice to the Institute's management and preparing annual equality reports.
  • Development and evaluation of plans and measures in the area of diversity management
  • Contact point for any form of characteristic-related disadvantage or discrimination
