Call for Papers: Joint ESS, SHARE & GGP User Meeting

SHARE Austria, GGP Austria und ESS Austria are organizing the 3rd Joint User Meeting on Friday, May 8, 2026, hosted at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna.

This event brings together the communities of three major European research networks:

  • ESS (European Social Survey)
  • SHARE (Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe)
  • GGP (Generations and Gender Programme)

The meeting is a collaborative space to present research findings, discuss new methodologies, and explore how combining data from these three large-scale surveys can lead to deeper insights into European society. The aim is to increase the visibility of high-quality social data and foster new scientific synergies.

All contributions that use data from the ESS, SHARE, or GGP – particularly those using comparative (across countries) or longitudinal (across time) perspectives, are welcome. Deadline for abstract submission is 15 March 2026.
