Shauna Stack is a junior researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) in the Science, Technology and Social Transformation Groupe. She completed her Bachelors' degree at Emory University in the United States, where she studied Cognitive Science with a focus on Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology (NBB). Shauna came to Vienna by way of New York City, where she worked at a global technology and investment firm and TED Talks Headquarters. In 2017, she began her Masters' at the University of Vienna Department of Science Technology Studies (STS) where she studies innovation cultures, responsibility, stakeholder engagement and co-creation and is a tutor for ‘Science in Society Laboratories’, a course covering public controversies at the intersection of science and society. Shauna is writing her thesis on how different networks and institutions understand and evaluate their impact on society.
