People at IHS in alphabetical order:

  • Milena Wuketich works as a researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies Vienna (IHS) since 2014 as part of the research group ‘Techno-Science and Societal Transformation’. Before that, she was working as research assistant at the Hebrew University Jerusalem and the IHS. Milena studied Sociology and Theatre, Film and Media Studies at the Universities of Vienna and Malta. Currently, she is working on her dissertation about implant technology at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Vienna.

    Milena is and was involved in different international projects about Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), investigating Citizen Science as form of citizen involvement, analysing participation activities of the Austrian society to cope with intense refugee movements or preparing a survey amongst the Austrian Jewish population about their experiences with Antisemitism. Other projects include the evaluation of funding programmes for participatory projects on ethical, legal and social questions in the modern life sciences or the development of digital teaching instruments, the conduction of (participatory) technology assessments of different genetic technologies.
