Anna Walter is a behavioural economist with practical experience of applying theory to real-world problems. She holds the position of a researcher at IHS' Research Group Behavioural Economics, Insight Austria and pursues a PhD at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU).
She studied at the renowned Maastricht University where she graduated cum laude with a Masters in Economics and Psychology (Human Decision Science). After her studies, Anna Walter got accepted to the highly selective Innovation Training at the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam, where she gained her certification in Design Thinking. With her work, Anna Walter bridges gaps between disciplines. She believes it takes both scientific rigor and creativity to tackle societal challenges most effectively.
Before joining the IHS, Anna Walter worked in the fields of Marketing and Consulting. She also spearheaded research on educational decision-making processes at the reputable Centre for Education and the Labor Market (ROA) in Maastricht.
