Elaheh Mohammadi is a sociologist with research interests in feminism, decoloniality, and sociology of knowledge. She studied sociology at Masaryk University in Brno and has been also a doctoral research fellow at the Universities in Toronto, Vienna, and Graz. For her Ph.D. research, she worked on changes in Iranian women's perceptions of womanhood, materialism, and sexual intimacy. She now works on the intersection of care, emotions, body, and policy and collaborates in the research project “Crafting liberal democracy through self-determination,” funded by the FWF Science fund.
