Vienna Healthcare Lectures 2019

This years Vienna Healthcare Lectures take place from September 16th to 18th. They are focussed on finding ways towards a more patient-centered health care system.

An important task of public service provision in health care ist to meet the needs of citizens, insured persons and patients in the best possible way.  This poses great challenges to health care systems. In this context, the Vienna Healthcare Lectures 2019 critically analyze potential obstacles and chances for possible impulses. In addition, the question on how to create a health care system that is both modern and better adapted to the wishes of citizens and patients, will be posed.

The Vienna Healthcare Lectures are jointly organized by the Federation of Austrian Social Insurance Entities and IHS. Thomas Czypionka and Markus Kraus are responsible for the scientific lead of the event. It is directed towards decision makers and practitioners in the field of health care, such as as health care managers, doctors and nursing staff, as well as representatives of public administration and social insurance institutions.
