Last week, the scientific conference titled "Sustainable Development: A new, global transformation type?" took place in Freiburg, Germany. The two-day event was organized by the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources of the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg. The general aim of the conference was to further clarify what mechanism are being used to inculcate the concept of sustainable development into different societal contexts. Beate Littig participated with a talk on the the sustainable future of work.
