Research project GigClean: Looking for interview partners

We are looking for participants for the GigClean study on working realities of platform-mediated domestic cleaners in Vienna.

GigClean is a research project that investigates working realities of female cleaners in private households in Vienna whose jobs are mediated via internet platforms (Funding: AK Digifonds).

The aim of the project is to shed light on problems and possibilities for improving platform-based work practices. How are the working conditions? What experiences have been made in the COVID19 pandemic? How do the workers experience cleaning in private and unfamiliar households? These and other questions are the focus of the GigClean study.

Currently we are looking for cleaners for anonymous interviews. The interviews take place in German or, if desired, in the first language of the respondents, and are rewarded with €20. We would be happy about support in spreading the call for study participation!

For any further questions or more detailed information about the project, please do not hesitate to contact us.
