Chronic respiratory diseases are a burden not only for the patient suffering from them, but for society as a whole through the cost they create. The research group Health Economics and Health Policy conducted a study commissioned by GlaxoSmithKline to assess the economic costs of chronic respiratory diseases in Austria.
