The Austrian daily Der Standard published an op-ed by IHS Fellow Max Kasy on two key issues for Austria's government: reforming group taxation and adapting the European asylum regime. There is potential, according to Kasy, for European solutions that reduce hardship and make the EU more just; and those solutions could be capable of winning a majority.
