IHS mourns the death of Caspar Einem

IHS mourns the loss of its long-time Vice President Caspar Einem and thanks him for his service to the Institute.

"Caspar Einem was a politician with vision and convictions, an exciting intellectual and a companion for IHS for many years - for me personally a good friend. His departure from this life hits us all hard and came far too soon. Our thoughts are with his son," said IHS Board of Trustees President Franz Fischler.

Einem was Vice President of the IHS Board of Trustees since 2015. He accompanied the house through major reforms, always showed commitment and was an open and interested interlocutor to the people at the house.
