The focus of the current report is on housing. For 18 % of respondents, housing costs represented a severe financial burden in the second quarter of 2022, an increase of five percentage points compared to the previous quarter. 19 % of respondents feared they would have difficulty paying housing costs (any rent or loan installments, utilities and operating costs) in the coming months. This proportion was particularly high among people in households affected by unemployment (50 %).
