Erasmus+ is one of the most remarkable programs of the EU. It supports the international mobility of students as well as teachers and offers valuable experiences abroad. Furthermore, staying abroad has also positive economic effects on the respective countries. The Institute for Advanced studies conducted a study on behalf of the OeAD that measured the economic effects of the 14.000 people that went to Austria in 2014 to study abroad.
