Curriculum Vitae

Oliver Treib is Head of the Department of Political Science at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna, where he has been working as an Assistant Professor since 2003. Prior to joining the Department, he was a doctoral and post-doctoral research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne (1999-2003). Having studied political science, history and philosophy, he received his Master's degree (1999) and PhD (2002) in political science from the University of Cologne.
