About the Library
Using the Library
Periodicals, reference books and dictionaries must be read in the library during the opening hours. In some well-founded cases it is possible to borrow library items overnight, weekend or to make photocopies.
External users may use the library only as reference library on Thursday mornings or after prior arrangement.
Library material must be handled carefully. The reader is responsible for the borrowed material(s). Lost or damaged items must be reported promptly. The borrower is requested to pay for replacement.
On leaving the library readers are required to submit for inspection any library items they are taking out.
If a reader leaves the Institute for a longer period, she or he is asked to contact the library.
The use of diskettes on the PC in the library is only permitted after a virus check.
Bags, coat, umbrella, etc. must be left in the cloak-room.
Users of the library are requested not to eat, drink, smoke or use a mobile phone on the premises!
Two weeks before a staff member or student definitely leaves the Institute, she or he has to return all borrowed library items.
We are storing personal data for the automatic loan system.
By signing the library pass the reader acknowledges the library regulations.
