Economics and Finance
Welcome to the Microeconomics Research Group!
Microeconomics and Game Theory
The specialization Microeconomics and Game Theory is looked after by Hildegard and Egbert Dierker, Klaus Ritzberger, and Martin Meier. The group meets every Thursday at 14:00 in SZVI for the “Micro Jour-Fixe” which is a reading group and an opportunity to present one’s own research. Students specializing in microeconomics or game theory are expected to attend the Micro Jour-Fixe regularly. Our interests focus on the theory of the firm, repeated games, general equilibrium with complete and with incomplete markets, abstract game theory, and financial economics. We also organize biannually international workshops on topics related to our interests.
